Diálogo con el pasado industrial: nave 16 E Intermediae en el matadero de Madrid, estrategias de intervención en rehabilitación de edificios con valor patrimonial.

Resumo

O patrimonio industrial pode ser calibrado segundo valores históricos, artísticos ou espaciais. O obxectivo deste traballo é profundar no valor arquitectónico (espacial e fenomenolóxico), estudando o diálogo que se establece entre as estruturas industriais abandonadas e as novas intervencións. Con este fin analízanse as intervencións realizadas en Nave 16 e Intermediae, para extraer as ideas guías que articulan os proxectos. Da primeira extráese unha analoxía de carácter metafórico, na que un novo ente engánchase a unha estrutura existente. A idea guía da segunda é unha analoxía de carácter metonímico, na que se evidencia o paso do tempo musealizando as cicatrices do edificio. A obtención destas estratexias de intervención e a súa sistematización permitirá poder extrapolalas a outros edificios con características similares, así como enriquecer o debate da rehabilitación, evidenciando a relevancia dos valores espaciais á marxe da súa antigüidade e interese histórico-artístico.

Industrial heritage can be determined according to historical, artistic or spatial values. The aim of this work is to deepen into the architectural value (spatial and phenomenological), studying the dialogue that is established between abandoned industrial structures and new interventions. To accomplish it, the interventions carried out in Nave 16 and Intermediae are analyzed to extract the guiding ideas that articulate the projects. In the first one, a metaphorical analogy is extracted, in which a new entity is attached to an existing structure. The guiding idea of the second one is an analogy of metonymic character, in which the course of time is evidenced by musealizing the building’s scars. Obtaining these strategies and their systematization, this will allow to extrapolate them to other buildings with similar characteristics, as well as enriching the discussion on rehabilitation, highlighting the relevance of spatial values regardless of their antiquity and historical-artistic interest.
